Shooting the films

In January 2009 began an essential part of the project – the film shoots. The artistic teams worked in each selected location with a group of about five pupils to shoot the films. At Kottbusser Tor a whole class danced the Arabian folkdance „Dabke“, supported by three drummers.

The majority of the shoots took place outside and lasted several hours – and this in one of the coldest winters in the last 100 years. Staying-power and the support of hot drinks helped the participants through!
